Sitting on the edge of the RSPB nature reserve in Lelant, Hayle this is a great place for some lunch, breakfast or an afternoon snack. Open 7 days a week 9-5, you are welcome to dine here along with your doggies, however please be aware there will be birds in the area so hopefully your dog will react well to them. The chef at Birdie’s Bistro has an impressive history having worked in some fantastic places including Harrod’s, with Raymond Blanc and Ferrari. The menu caters for all tastes and features classic dishes with a modern twist.
The Bistro is in a perfect position to get those fantastic views over the estuary which changes depending on the tide. They also have holes in the fences at both adult and child heights to make sure that nature can be observed without being disturbed. Hayle is in the West of Cornwall and near places such as St Ives, if you are staying in that area and have an interest in birds and nature then this place is highly recommended.
