Morwenstow's Norman-era parish church and Hawker's Hut - a National Trust-owned driftwood shelter built by the Victorian poet-vicar Robert Stephen Hawker - are nearby. Bude, the nearest town with shops and restaurants, is about 6 miles south. The coast path through the parish is among the most demanding in Cornwall, with steep valley descents and exposed cliff-top sections.
