Kittiwake Cottage

Kittiwake Cottage is a terrace cottage in the historic fishing village of Polruan, sleeping 4 across 2 king-size bedrooms. The cottage has a private garden with summerhouse and lawn reached via steps from the back door - a useful space for dogs and outdoor sitting. The interior is compact but well arranged, with Wi-Fi throughout and off-road parking included.

The Fowey passenger ferry runs every 15 minutes from the quay at the end of the lane, taking guests across to Fowey's restaurants, galleries, and shops in under 5 minutes. Polruan has its own village amenities including a shop, bakery, cafe, and two food-serving pubs, so day-to-day needs can be covered without crossing the water.

Readymoney Cove - a sheltered sandy beach below Fowey's town walls - is 900 metres by ferry and foot. Lantic Bay, one of the most dramatic coves in south Cornwall, is 1.7km along the South West Coast Path heading east. The Eden Project is 16 miles inland for a day out, and Polperro is around 6 miles along the coast.

Ideal for couples or a family of 4 who want a village atmosphere and easy access to the water without the busy tourist feel of Fowey itself. The ferry connection means guests can access Fowey's restaurants on foot without needing to drive. Not great for guests with limited mobility, as the village is steep and garden access requires steps.
