Pucks Cottage

Pucks Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage in the centre of Polruan, sleeping 4. The double bedroom is standard; the twin room has 2'6 beds with restricted head height - suited to children rather than adults. The wood burner, dishwasher, and enclosed garden come with the cottage, and dogs are welcome throughout.

Readymoney Cove is 0.8km from the door - a sheltered sandy cove accessed via a footpath through the valley. The village quay, pub, local shop, and post office are within 200 yards, so the car can stay parked for much of a stay. The passenger ferry to Fowey takes around 5 minutes and runs regularly in season, opening up the town's restaurants and galleries without a drive.

Lantic Bay is 1.8km along the coast path - one of the most secluded coves in south Cornwall. The Hall Walk starts in Polruan and follows the estuary with water views throughout. The South West Coast Path passes through the village.

Good for two adults with 1-2 children who want a car-free Cornish village experience with coastal walks and ferry access. Less suited to 4 adults - the second bedroom is a children's room.

The cottage sleeps 4 across 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin with 2'6" beds and restricted head height. One bathroom is shared. Dishwasher and wi-fi are included; there is no washing machine. Parking is available on site. Dogs are welcome. The enclosed garden provides outdoor space in a village setting where most properties have no private outside area at all. The Hall Walk, a 4-mile circular route taking in the estuary, Bodinnick, and Pont Pill creek, starts from Polruan and is one of the best walks in south Cornwall.
