Tehidy Park Golf Club

Description
Tehidy Park Golf Club is a beautifully maintained parkland course nestled in the heart of West Cornwall, just a short drive inland from the coast. Established in 1922 on part of the historic Bassett Estate, the course stretches to 6,241 yards from the men’s tees and plays to a par of 71. With mature woodland, gentle undulations, and well-placed water hazards—including three lakes—it offers both challenge and charm across its 18 holes.
The layout is strategic but accessible, making it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. With tree-lined fairways, thoughtful bunker placement, and a mix of doglegs and elevation changes, each hole requires focus without being punishing. The course has benefited from several upgrades over the years, including a post-war redesign by C.K. Cotton and a modern irrigation system that ensures excellent year-round conditioning.
Off the course, Tehidy Park Golf Club offers excellent facilities, including a welcoming clubhouse with the popular Cygnets Restaurant, a fully stocked pro shop, and practice areas with a driving range, putting green, and golf simulator. The club hosts regular social events, charity competitions, and society days, maintaining a strong sense of community and hospitality. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a visitor exploring Cornwall, Tehidy Park provides a memorable and friendly golf experience in a tranquil setting.
