Fowey Hall Hotel
This beautiful hotel is a real gem. Sitting above the town of Fowey which is nestled into the bank of the River Fowey the views are incredible across the bay and out to sea. The Fowey Hall is a classic building that has been maintained but also modernised in areas. The rooms are a high standard and decorated beautifully. The hotel is dog friendly and makes sure that everyone feels welcome there.
There are some fantastic walks in and around the hotel and of course you can always walk down to the town and explore the stunning scenery. Curl up in the hotel in front of an open fire with your dog after a long walk on a blustery day or a day at one of the dog friendly beaches in the area. The food is exceptional at this hotel and the spa will give you everything you could ask for to relax, including an outdoor hot tub looking out to sea.
Comfort Wood Cottage
This charming barn conversion is the perfect little Cornish retreat for anyone wanting to get away from it all and bring their dog with them. The cottage is set in an Estate near Callington. Callington is a great location to explore the East of Cornwall and even Devon as you are well placed to be within a short drive of Plymouth and the coasts in Conrwall where you will find amazing beaches and coastal walking paths.
The barn conversion sleeps up to 7 guests and can also cater for babies ands children as well as dogs so ideal for a large family holiday. The kitchen is prepped with all you will need including washer and dryer to wash your clothes after those muddy dog walks. There is also private outdoor space too for you to enjoy. A great little find in this area for the dog lovers.
The Old Inn
This stunning traditional pub and bed and breakfast is a fabulous place to bring your dog. The pub is a traditional Cornish pub with a thatched roof and a fantastic atmosphere. The rooms all have en-suites and tea and coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is served every morning too to get you started the right way for the day ahead.
This pub is located on the Lizard Peninsula so is a brilliant place to explore West and South Cornwall. You have dog friendly attractions close by such as Land’s End. There are plenty of coastal walks too so enjoy this charming bed and breakfast.
This incredible property is on the coast in Portwrinkle and is a perfect place for a big family holiday or for a large group of friends. The house has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up until 8. There is a fantastic terrace with a view that is just amazing. Sit out and watch the ocean while enjoying a meal or glass of wine. Walk on the beach with the dog as much as you want.
The inside of the house is decorated in a luxurious modern way and there is an open plan living space equipped with everything you will need to make a family meal or plate up a take away if that’s what you prefer. The location is South East Cornwall and is ideally placed to explore the coastal walks in this area. For a beach break with the family including your dog this is a real find.
The Scarlet Hotel
This luxury hotel is a real treat. Set on the cliff top in Mawgan Porth the hotel boasts an eco pool, outside sauna and hot tubs. The inside pool and spa are simply stunning, you can have a treatment or simply relax in one of the spa chill out spaces or meditation room. The restaurant serves high quality food and the decor is gorgeous.
The hotel is within reaching distance of a fantastic dog friendly beach, Mawgan Porth Beach. The beach is large when the tide is out and there are coastal paths on both sides. There are cafes and bars down by the beach too. You are also close to Newquay and the stunning coastline in between. There are some fantastic dog friendly places to eat and walk all around there.
This lodge on a complex is a fantastic family holiday home. The complex features a hot tub and swimming pool as well as a gym that you can use. There is also a plunge pool on the complex too. The house has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 7 people. The house is pet friendly and there is outside space too. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need as well including washer and dryer.
The location of this lodge is fantastic. Near Looe in the South East of Cornwall the house is ideally placed to explore the coastal paths and beaches in this area. Plymouth isn’t far and you can reach The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan pretty easily from this property, both are dog friendly days out in Cornwall.
The Headland Hotel
This famous hotel in Newquay is on the headland over looking the iconic Fistral Beach. This grand hotel has a fantastic spa and indoor swimming pool as well as a seasonal outdoor pool. There are various dining options here too, casual terrace dining or restaurant dining. The decor in the hotel is classic with a modern twist. Dogs are welcome on request, additional costs may apply.
The location of the hotel in Newquay gives you many different options for dining and entertainment as well as days out. The beaches and coastal paths in the area are brilliant for dogs, there are many walks and places to let the dogs run out off the lead. There are plenty of dogs and therefore plenty of places to eat in Newquay where you will be welcome too. This is perfect if you want luxury as well as a place that welcomes your furry friend too.
The Falmouth Hotel has a garden and terrace and amazing sea views. The location is right neat Pendennis Castle and you can walk to the sea from the hotel too. Falmouth is a fantastic place and caters for all tastes. There are bars, restaurants and shops and mariner as well as some amazing local beaches.
You will find plenty of water sports in and around Falmouth. Why not hire a paddle board and take your dog out with you. The Plume of Feathers
This hidden treasure is in the beautiful village of Mitchell, just outside of Truro and was originally a 16th century coaching inn. The pub has been renovated and extended and is a lovely setting for food and drink. The rooms are separate barn conversions and are a high standard and decorated very tastefully. There is a full breakfast available too in the mornings. The pub has a conservatory as well as the original pub with log fire and great atmoshphere.
The location of the Plume is handy to explore most of Cornwall as Mitchell is just off the A30. So you can be in Truro or Newquay within 15 minutes. Then half an hour down the A30 you have places such as St Ives and then Padstow in the other direction. You can make the most of all that Cornwall has to offer with your dog and come home to somewhere cosy and stylish at the end of the day. The food is fantastic too.
Tolcarne Beach Colonial Restaurant and Rooms
What an incredible place to have a break and to be able to bring your dog with you too. This fantastic property is literally on the beach. Situated on Tolcarne beach in Newquay what could be more amazing than waking up in the morning on the beach and being able to have your breakfast watching the waves and seeing the sun over Newquay bay.
The Colonial has a restaurant and also has rooms which feature a terrace for you to sit out and enjoy the magnificent views. Each room has an en-suite and provides toiletries. There is free parking and wifi, so don’t worry even though you are on a beach, you are still connected.
