Kingsand Beach
Kingsand Beach is a charming and historic stretch of coastline located on the Rame Peninsula in southeast Cornwall, England. It forms part of the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, which are known for their quaint charm, colorful cottages, and maritime heritage. The beach itself is a mix of sand and shingle, sheltered within Cawsand Bay and framed by the colourful cottages of the twin villages. Its sheltered location within Cawsand Bay provides calm waters, making it suitable for swimming and paddling.
Both the nearby village of Cawsand and the village of Kingsand provide a variety of services and attractions for tourists. There is lots to explore on and off the beach, from charming stores selling handcrafted goods and souvenirs to classic taverns and cafes serving regional specialties. The beach looks directly across Plymouth Sound towards the historic naval city of Plymouth, with warships and ferries regularly passing in view.
