This property offers peace and tranquillity for guests, situated as it is within 100 acres of meadowland, on a working cattle farm. The town of Helston is two miles away, a bustling community with some interesting heritage features, including the 15th century Blue Anchor Inn. Two miles south-west of Helston is the National Trust managed Penrose Estate, home to Cornwall’s largest natural lake and surrounded by stunning woodland walks. You will also find several National trust gardens near by to visit.  Within easy reach, are numerous beaches and harbour towns including Praa Sands, Porthleven and Coverack - with Porthleven being the nearest at just over 5 miles and Praa Sands around 6 miles.

This spacious property makes a wonderful getaway for a couple who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With underfloor heating throughout, this lovely retreat feels cosy  and comfortable even on the cooler days. Guests are greeted by a traditional Cornish cream tea in the property’s very spacious and homely kitchen, which is well-equipped with an integrated large range cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer. There is also a TV and hi-fi in the kitchen for guests’ enjoyment. The lounge is equally generous and has plenty of comfortable seating, a 50 inch Smart TV and DVD player, as well as patio doors which open out onto the garden. The property’s bedroom is an elegant double with a king size bed. The shower room with WC is contemporary and light-filled.

Outside, the property benefits from a lovely, large enclosed garden which is mainly set to lawn, with a patio area sitting directly outside the door to the lounge. There is outdoor seating and a barbecue making this a great place to enjoy relaxing alfresco meals whilst admiring the gorgeous countryside views. Guests are also able to enjoy the farm’s 100acres of meadows, and to look in on the grazing cattle.
