The larger of two Croft Cottages on the same site, this 3-bedroom property sleeps 6 and suits families or small groups. It shares almost 4 acres of grounds with neighbouring cottages - a mix of established gardens, meadow and small areas of woodland on the edge of Goonhavern village.

Three bedrooms provide enough space for a family, with a Saturday changeover day. Parking is on site. The shared grounds include open areas where children can run around, quieter garden corners, and a natural woodland backdrop that changes with the seasons.

Perranporth Beach is 3.7 km to the west - about a 5-minute drive. The beach runs for 3 miles, with reliable surf breaks, a large tidal pool and dune-backed sand. Holywell Bay, another good family beach, is 6.3 km north.

Goonhavern sits on the A3075 between Newquay (6 miles north) and Truro (about 20 minutes southeast). The village has a pub, chip shop and convenience store for basics. Day trips reach easily in several directions - Newquay's zoo and aquarium in 15 minutes, Truro's cathedral and shops in 20, and the Eden Project in about 30 minutes. The mining heritage coast around St Agnes is roughly 5 miles south. Prices start from 651 per week.
