Hollyhocks Cottage

Hollyhocks Cottage is a four-bedroom semi-detached country cottage in the hamlet of Hellandbridge, dating from the 18th century and set beside a 15th-century bridge over the River Camel. It sleeps seven in a king-size, a double and three singles across two bathrooms, with space for two dogs of any size at no extra charge.

The cottage has an open fire for cooler evenings, WiFi throughout, and a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The layout is accessible on the ground floor. Changeover is on Fridays, with prices from 760 GBP per week and a peak rate of 1,400 GBP.

Outside there is private parking and a garden leading to a sunny patio. The former Bodmin to Wadebridge railway line, now the Camel Trail, runs past the cottage and carries on for miles through woodland and along the river. St Mabyn village, with its inn and shop, is about 2 miles away; Bodmin is roughly 3 miles, and the market town of Wadebridge is around 8 miles.

Hellandbridge sits in a quiet pocket of countryside between Bodmin Moor and the north coast. Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac and Tintagel are all within a short drive, and the Eden Project is reachable across the spine of Cornwall to the south.
