You can also join the long-distance South West Coast Path. Closer to home, the bustling market town of Wadebridge is 6 miles away and has a good range of independent shops, along with traditional pubs and cosy cafes. The traffic-free Camel Trail also passes through the town, and you can follow it to Padstow or Bodmin. Nearby attractions include the Eden Project, Pencarrow House and Garden, and the National Trust’s Lanhydrock (all within 10 miles).
