Discover Cornwall’s wild and wonderful north coast with a memorable break at this spacious detached cottage. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the charming village of St Agnes (150 metres) and sleeping ten guests across five en-suite bedrooms, making it an excellent choice for families or groups of friends. St Agnes has picturesque historic buildings lining its streets alongside welcoming cafés, independent shops and inviting places to eat, all within 0.5 miles. Trevaunance Cove (0.5 miles) has one of the area’s few year round dog-friendly beaches and benefits from a lively atmosphere with a traditional Cornish pub and a relaxed cliffside beach bar. Water sports enthusiasts can try surfing, kayaking or paddleboarding here. Keen walkers can join the spectacular South West Coast Path (0.5 miles). For a classic Cornish day out, the surfing hotspot of Newquay (11 miles) has sandy beaches and family attractions including a Sea Life Aquarium kids will love.

Step inside and hang your coats in the reception lobby, before entering the heart of the house – a bright open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. This space is framed by wraparound windows overlooking the mature garden, trees and valley beyond. Comfortable sofa seating and a Smart TV make the lounge section perfect for relaxed evenings together, while the large dining table sets you up for convivial mealtimes. You’ll have a breakfast bar for perching with coffee and a generous walk-in larder/utility room for added practicality. From the inner lobby, step up to the ground-floor bedroom, an impressive king-size four-poster room with an en-suite bathroom featuring a rainfall shower over the bath and WC. Continue along the corridor to find the staircase leading upstairs, plus a spacious laundry/games room complete with a multi-games table, washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC. On the first floor, you’ll find three doubles, one with rainfall shower over the bath and two with en-suite shower rooms and a twin that can be arranged as a super-king on request, also with an en-suite shower room. Each bedroom also features a TV with an Amazon Firestick for added comfort.

You’ll have plenty of space to relax outside, too. There’s a lovely mature private garden, filled with a variety of shrubs and plants and bordered by a small stream that leads to the beach. A spacious terrace provides seating for everyone and is ideal for long summer evenings dining outdoors, with a gas BBQ ready for relaxed holiday feasts. Steps lead down to the lawned garden, where there’s ample for children and dogs to enjoy the fresh coastal air. A pathway provides direct access towards the beach. The property also benefits from extensive gravelled parking for up to five cars.
