Avid walkers will be keen to capture the sights on the South West Coast Path, which boasts striking walks in both directions. Head off one way to Hayle Beach (10.5 miles) and the characterful streets and galleries of St Ives (16.5 miles), or stroll the other way for Sally’s Bottom nature area (4 miles) and Porthtowan Beach (3.5 miles). A little further afield, Newquay and Fistral Beach (19 miles) make excellent day trips for anyone itching to experience Cornwall’s celebrated surfing scene.

Enter through the front door of this three-storey cottage and into the kitchen/diner. Charming vaulted ceilings, a breakfast bar and a dining table present a warm welcome to any budding chef, and with a Rangemaster oven and a coffee machine, you’ll have everything you could possibly need for group catering. Straight ahead is the sun room with delightful views across the garden and seating to enjoy them, the ideal spot for a quiet read or relaxing. The hallway leads to a cosy lounge with ample seating and a Smart TV, while the other direction leads to a games room with a pool table and another Smart TV. Finishing off the ground floor is a light double bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC. Upstairs, on the first floor, is the king-size zip-and-link bedroom with a lovely en-suite shower room, and two king-size bedrooms. One of these has access to an en-suite shower room, while the other can use the family bathroom on this floor.
