A visual tour of Cornwall's four corners — the rugged north, sheltered south, ancient west, and moorland east, with a local guide to help plan your stay.

Cornwall is packed full of extraordinary scenery, brimming with history, proud of its culture and known for its hospitality, food and drink. But where do you base yourself if you are new to Cornwall?

Hi, I’m Louise founder of Experience Cornwall Tours and I’m going to give you a visual guide to the four ‘corners’ of this county — Atlantic cliffs to the north, sheltered creeks to the south — that I’m lucky enough to call home.

What’s on your door to explore?

The Rugged North, with its high cliffs, long golden beaches, and surfing culture. The soft South with sheltered creeks, thatched fishing villages, sub-tropical gardens and areas of outstanding natural beauty. The ancient West with UNESCO world mining heritage status, a unique open-air theatre and of course the UK’s most Westerly point at Land’s End. Or Go East, where you will find Moorland, coastal villages, historical houses, and the beautiful the Roseland.

I hope this visual guide will help you choose your base for your stay.
