Theme Parks & Adventure Parks in Cornwall

Cornwall's theme and adventure parks - Camel Creek near Wadebridge, Holywell Bay Fun Park, Retallack Aqua Park, and the Giant Slip and Slide at St Columb.

Cornwall has four dedicated theme and adventure parks, each at a different price point and suited to different ages. None of the big national chains operate here, which keeps the offer local and the crowds manageable compared to equivalent parks elsewhere in England.

Camel Creek Adventure Park near Wadebridge spreads across 111 acres and runs rides, water attractions, live shows, and animal encounters. It is pitched squarely at under-12s - the rides are appropriate for younger children rather than teenagers. The site includes a dinosaur trail, splash zone, and a reasonable catering offer. Open from Easter through October.

Holywell Bay Fun Park near Newquay has free entry to the site, with individual rides charged separately. F1 go-karts, blaster boats, crazy golf, and over 20 rides and attractions operate across a smaller footprint than Camel Creek. It works well for a half-day rather than a full one.

Retallack Aqua Park near St Columb Major is an inflatable obstacle course on a lake. The course involves climbing, jumping, and falling in cold water, and is genuinely physically demanding. Best for ages 6 and up with a reasonable swim confidence. Wetsuits are provided. Sessions are timed at around an hour on the water.

Giant Slip and Slide at St Columb features a 110-metre waterslide with a 3-metre launch ramp. Family-run since 2017, it suits a wide age range and includes bodyboards and inflatable accessories. Sea views add to the appeal on a clear day.
