Giant Slip and Slide is a family-run inflatable water park at Winnards Perch, on the A39 near St Columb. Newquay and Padstow are about 15 minutes away and Truro about 25. The park bills itself as the longest and largest slip and slide in the world, with seven slides: four 440ft lanes, plus the three-lane Dragonfly Racer for racing friends and family.
Entry in 2026 was £14 per person plus a booking fee, with rings and bodyboards included and children under 5 free. Wetsuit hire is available, and an optional extra hour in the water pistol battle park is sold on top. Booking is not essential but is advised, as sessions can fill up. Spectators are welcome, with a picnic area and on-site caterers (subject to availability).
It is a summer attraction. In 2026 the park opened for May half term, ran weekends only from 31 May, and opened seven days a week from 22 July, so check the website or its Instagram and Facebook pages for next season’s dates. The park sits on the main road between Newquay and Wadebridge, so it combines easily with a day in Wadebridge or St Columb.
