Heligan Night Garden lights a route through the Lost Gardens of Heligan on selected evenings from 13 November 2026 to 2 January 2027. The walk is just over a mile, with illuminated lanterns along an outdoor garden trail. This is a separate evening visit, with its own ticket, rather than an extension of ordinary daytime admission.
Entry slots start at 4.15pm and run at 15-minute intervals. On evenings with a 7.30pm last entry, the gardens close at 9pm. Choose the slot before arranging dinner or the journey back to your accommodation; the later session leaves less spare time for a slow circuit.
Walking the trail
Heligan recommends a torch and sturdy footwear. Garden paths after dark need more care than a pavement, so allow time for the route and bring layers for an outdoor November or December evening. Dogs can join the walk on a short lead.
Toilets are at the main entrance and by the Steward’s House around halfway through. Accessible parking and toilets are available, but check Heligan’s route guidance against your own mobility needs before booking: facilities alone do not describe every path on the trail.
Tickets and travel
