Christmas at Eden brings evening lights and music to the Biomes on selected dates between 20 November 2026 and 2 January 2027. The Christmas Lights evenings shown in this calendar run from 4pm to 8.30pm. Father Christmas visits and ice skating have their own sessions, so choose the activities first and then check that they overlap on your day.
The Eden Project needs valid admission for every visitor. Some admission tickets include the lights; others require a Christmas Lights Pass as well. The adult lights pass costs £12.50, with under-16 lights passes free. That child concession does not remove the requirement for valid Eden admission.
Planning the evening
On lights days the Biomes close to daytime visitors at 3.15pm, then reopen for the evening programme at 4pm. You can stay elsewhere on site during that changeover. Last entry to Eden is 7pm, and the Biomes close at 8.30pm, so an earlier arrival gives more time to walk through both spaces.
Father Christmas sessions run on fewer dates and carry a separate charge. If you are combining one with skating, allow the recommended arrival time before the booked activity rather than treating all three tickets as interchangeable.
Winter dates and accommodation
There are no lights on 24 or 25 December. The evening programme resumes on Boxing Day and continues through 2 January. For an overnight visit, compare places to stay around St Austell and check the individual experience timetable before booking your trip.
