Bullace Tree Barn

Bullace Tree Barn is a converted cob barn near St Austell for two guests, close to the village of Porthpean. The main bedroom has a double bed, and two single day beds sit in the lounge, though the official capacity stays at two - the extra beds aren't an invitation to add guests.

One bathroom serves the property. Guests receive a welcome pack that includes fresh eggs from the on-site chickens, and herbs can be gathered from the kitchen garden. WiFi, parking and a garden are included, but there is no dishwasher, washing machine or EV charging, and dogs are not accepted.

Porthpean Beach is 0.9 miles away, Charlestown Beach is 1.6 miles from the barn and Carlyon Bay is 2.1 miles away. Charlestown's Georgian harbour, built in the 1790s for the china clay trade and later used as a Poldark filming location, is a short drive. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within easy reach, and coast-path walks start nearby.

**Best for:** A couple wanting a converted barn, kitchen-garden produce, parking and Porthpean Beach under a mile away.

**Less good for:** Groups larger than two, guests travelling with a dog, or anyone needing a dishwasher, laundry, EV charging or step-free access.
