Deluxe Pirate's Cove Themed Apartment

Deluxe Pirate's Cove is a one-bedroom themed apartment on the first floor of a building in St Austell town centre, renovated in July 2020 with a hand-painted beach-cove mural and pirate and Cornish-smuggler decor throughout.

The king-size bed uses Egyptian-cotton linen, and both the bedroom and living room have smart TVs with Netflix and internet TV channels. A fully equipped kitchen, walk-in shower, washing machine, and free WiFi complete the apartment, and guests can borrow games from an on-site games chest. On-site parking is available, and dogs are not accepted

The apartment sits 15 steps from St Austell's town centre, within walking distance of a five-screen cinema, a bowling alley, and a run of independent and chain shops. Porthpean Beach is 1.6 miles away and Charlestown Beach 1.8 miles, both reachable by car or a longer walk. The Eden Project is 5 miles from the door, and St Austell's railway station, with connections across Cornwall, is around a 10-minute walk.

Best for a couple wanting a walkable, no-car-needed base close to shops and the station, with a talking point of a theme. Less good for anyone wanting sea views or beach access on foot, since the coast is a drive from the town centre.
