Converted chapel for two, single-storey, one dog welcome

A former chapel in the middle of St Austell, Farthings has been converted into a single-storey home for two. There is one double bedroom, and the property sleeps two adults: children cannot stay because there is no outdoor space.

The open-plan room combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with wooden flooring and two leather sofas. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and there is a TV and WiFi. Gas underfloor heating runs through the building. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, basin and WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits is waiting, along with robes for guests to use.

Parking is a designated space for one car. One well-behaved dog is welcome, but the property has no outdoor space. Smoking is not allowed inside.

It is best for couples who want a base and are happy to spend their time out; it is less good for anyone wanting a garden or a second bedroom, and children are not accepted. A shop and pub are a short walk away, and Fowey is 8 miles and Mevagissey 6 miles away, with the Eden Project and Charlestown Harbour also within reach.
