31 Tregoney Hill

For two people who want to leave the car and walk everywhere, 31 Tregoney Hill in Mevagissey has the shop, the pub and the beach all 0.1 miles away, with a lake at 0.3 miles. The catch is the approach: the apartment is reached by steps and a steep hill.

Inside there is one double bedroom, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a TV. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath with a handheld shower, a basin and a WC. In the kitchen you will find an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster.

Electric central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. Parking is in a nearby car park. Smoking is not allowed.

One well-behaved pet is welcome. St Austell is 5.5 miles from the village and Truro is 16 miles away. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are just up the road, and a ferry to Fowey runs daily between Easter and September.

It suits a couple, with or without a dog, and is less good for anyone who finds steps or steep slopes difficult: the approach may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Charlestown is 7 miles away and the Eden Project 11 miles.
