A one-bedroom cottage on Higher Lavorrick, on the rim of Mevagissey above the harbour. Sleeps 2 in one bedroom with one bathroom. The combination of off-street parking, accessible ground-floor layout, and a dog-friendly garden is unusual for the village - most Mevagissey cottages sit on the car-free inner lanes.

Inside there is a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, sitting area, and step-free access throughout. WiFi is included. The garden is enclosed for dogs. Caveat: only one bedroom, so this is strictly a couples' (or solo) base, not a small-family option.

Pentewan Beach is 1 mile downhill to the north - a long sandy stretch backed by the holiday park, with kayak and paddleboard hire in summer. Mevagissey's working double harbour, Aquarium and fish-and-chip shops are a 10-minute walk down into the village; the Wheelhouse and Sharksfin both serve fish suppers on the quay. The Lost Gardens of Heligan sit 5 miles north; the Eden Project is 10 miles, both signposted from the A390. Gorran Haven, a sheltered family cove, is 2.4 miles south along the coast path.

Best for couples (with or without a dog) who want parking, level access, and a quiet base above the harbour. Less good for families - one bedroom only - or for guests who want to step straight onto the harbour itself.
