Falmouth Book Festival runs from 18 to 25 October 2026, with author events in two town-centre venues. The first announced guests include Ruby Wax, Charlie Higson, Esther Freud and Satish Kumar. The full programme, individual session times and ticket booking are still to follow.
The Poly, at 24 Church Street, hosts the main programme. Children’s events take place at Falmouth Library on the Moor. Check the venue for each booking before choosing your route through town, particularly if you plan to attend a children’s session and an author talk on the same day.
Choosing your events
Treat 18-25 October as the festival window, rather than an all-day timetable. Once the programme is published, choose the authors you want to hear and allow a gap between bookings at different venues. A festival date alone does not guarantee that a particular author appears that day, or that all sessions use the same admission arrangements.
