A unique holiday home in the heart of Padstow, this colourful cottage offers access to shops and eateries, as well as the coast and beaches. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom townhouse has a good-sized garden and accommodates four-legged companions. From here, stroll 1 mile out along the River Camel to reach St George’s Cove, where you can paddle, swim and play on the sand. Harbour Cove, another 1 mile further on, is also very beautiful. Take the children to Camel Creek Family Theme Park, 5 miles away; play golf at Trevose, 3.5 miles away, or organise a 3-mile hike to Steppe Point to see the Doom Bar, where local folklore claims mermaids wait to lure sailors on to the rocks.

Enter the cottage to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with ample space to relax, prepare meals and dine together. Make cups of fresh coffee in the machine, then head over to the Smart TV to settle on the sofa and catch up on your favourite boxset. Prepare delicious meals in the kitchen, with the fresh produce you have bought in Padstow, then dine inside the house or out in the garden. Also downstairs, is a family shower room. Make your way up to the first floor to find a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, plus the family bathroom, which has a claw-foot bath. A king-size bedroom, with views out over the water, is on the second floor of the retreat. All the bedrooms have Smart TVs.

Soak up the sunshine out in the south-facing garden, with artificial lawn. Dine out on the patio here, lighting the BBQ when you feel like cooking outside. There is a storage area and an outside heater at the property.
