Merlin's Cottage

Merlin's Cottage is a four-bedroom house in the centre of Tintagel on the North Cornwall coast, set up for larger family groups wanting sea views and room to spread out. Two bathrooms and generous living space make it workable for multi-generational stays.

The ground floor includes a king-size bedroom with ensuite shower room, useful for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs. Upstairs there are two further doubles, one with its own ensuite, and a flexible twin room that can be arranged as a king on request. A games room with pool table, darts and table tennis sits alongside a lounge with an open fire for evenings in.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a private hot tub, outdoor seating and a BBQ area, with private parking on site. Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove are the nearest beaches for swimming and rockpooling, both within a short drive of the village.

Tintagel Castle and its Arthurian ruins sit above the cliffs on the edge of the village, with shops, pubs and cafes in the main street. The South West Coast Path runs past the door in both directions, making it easy to walk north toward Boscastle or south toward Trebarwith.
