Skylark

Skylark is a three-bedroom farmhouse near Hayle on the North Cornwall coast, one of three properties on a 100-acre working farm once part of the Basset family estate. It sleeps six in a double and two twin bedrooms, with two bathrooms and views over St Ives Bay from the rear of the house.

Inside, the layout suits families: a double and two twin bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a living area, and wifi, dishwasher and washing machine throughout. The property has been thoughtfully renovated with comfort in mind. One dog of any size is welcome.

Outside, guests have an enclosed garden and private parking at the end of the long farm drive. Undercover storage for bicycles and beach gear is available, along with stabling and grazing for horses if needed.

Gwithian Beach is around 2 miles by road for dunes, surf and open sand. The South West Coast Path runs close by, with Hells Mouth viewpoint half a mile away and Godrevy Point and its lighthouse at 2 miles. Pubs serving food sit in Gwithian and Portreath. Hayle town is about 3 miles for shops and a supermarket, and St Ives is around 20 minutes by car.
