32 Trevithick

32 Trevithick is a three-bedroom holiday park lodge at Tolroy Manor in Hayle, sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The park sits between the Hayle estuary and the north Cornwall coast, roughly 4.3 miles from St Ives.

Inside, the lodge has a dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi throughout. Two bathrooms serve the six guests - a practical layout for families or two couples travelling together. The patio garden has a glass table and chairs, with a second patio area at the rear with picnic benches. A travel cot and stair gate are also provided.

Guests share the on-site facilities at Tolroy Manor, which include an indoor pool, a tennis court, a squash court and a children's play area, plus a shop, restaurant and bar. The facilities cost extra, through a pass bought from Reception on arrival. Porthkidney Beach, a quiet strand on the south side of the Hayle estuary, is 1.7 miles away. Carbis Bay beach - a wide arc of sand popular with families - sits 2.7 miles along the coast, and Gwithian Towans, with its 3-mile stretch of dunes and surf, is 3.5 miles to the north.

Best for families wanting park facilities alongside beach access. Less good for couples seeking seclusion - the holiday park setting means shared facilities and neighbours close by. No pets allowed. Friday changeover.
