Rendered farmhouse in the village of Angarrack, close to Hayle and the beaches at Gwithian and Godrevy. Four bedrooms - a king, a double, a single and a twin - sit upstairs alongside a shower room, with a further family bathroom on the ground floor.

An open fire warms the lounge, where leather sofas sit around a shelf of books, and the country kitchen has room for preparing family meals. A private hot tub and fitted gas barbecue stand on a sun deck behind the house, reached past a laundry room in the cellar, with a large lawn beyond for children to play. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are all included, and the house runs on mains electricity with fuel and power costs built into the price.

Angarrack has a traditional country inn within walking distance. Gwithian Towans is about 2 miles from the farmhouse, and Godrevy Beach around 3 miles further along the coast, both known for surf and dune-backed sand. Hayle itself has shops, pubs and restaurants, an RSPB reserve, and Paradise Park, a wildlife and bird sanctuary with an indoor soft play centre.

Best for families wanting a hot tub and open-fire evenings after a day at the beach. Less good for anyone needing step-free access, since all four bedrooms are upstairs.
