It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and one bathroom, with a ground-floor double bedroom and a downstairs WC. Up to three dogs are welcome. The garden is enclosed but not fully secure because of its low walls, so keep an eye on dogs outside. Off-road parking suits families with outdoor gear.

Gwithian Towans is 1.1 miles away - a wide sand beach backed by dunes stretching 3 miles to Godrevy Point, where a white lighthouse sits on a rocky island. Godrevy Beach itself is 2 miles, and Porthkidney Beach, near the mouth of the Hayle estuary, is 2.4 miles away. This stretch of coast is one of the most consistent surf and kite-surfing zones in Cornwall, and the beach is walkable from the front door.

The cottage has a wood burner and open fire for year-round stays, a dishwasher, washing machine, and EV charging point - an unusual combination at this price level.

Works well for multi-generational groups and for guests bringing an electric vehicle. The rear and side garden is terraced with some steps, and guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. Not great for anyone wanting a sea view or coastal village atmosphere - Connor Downs is an inland residential village with no shops. Saturday changeover.
