The Little Barn

The Little Barn is a single-storey studio barn conversion near Tintagel, with open-plan living space anchored by a wood-burning stove. The property sleeps two and opens onto a private terrace, with parking for up to two cars and a welcome for dogs.

Inside, the studio layout holds a 5ft double bed at the end of the main living space, with a heavy curtain for added privacy. The shower room and well-equipped kitchen sit alongside, and the wood burner makes the room workable through cooler months. Wi-Fi runs throughout, and dishwasher and washing machine cover the practical side.

Outside, the terrace runs off the living space with outdoor seating and a quiet rural aspect. EV charging is available on site, and the surrounding Atlantic coast is set up for extensive walking. The position places the barn within reach of Tintagel village, its castle and the cliff-top coast path that runs towards Boscastle to the north and Trebarwith Strand to the south.

Tintagel Castle, managed by English Heritage, sits close by for the Arthurian site and the footbridge across to the island. The Old Post Office - a medieval stone farmhouse owned by the National Trust - sits in the village itself, and Trebarwith Strand offers one of North Cornwall's widest stretches of sand at low tide, around ten minutes' drive south.
