Located in the traditional fishing village of Portloe, home to a pub, picturesque sandy cove, and the South West Coast Path, you won’t be short of things to explore from your doorstep. Carne and Pendower beaches (3 miles) are perfect for children. Take a day trip to the nearby village of St Mawes (11 miles) which offers a lovely selection of independent boutique shops, pubs, restaurants, and galleries, alongside a pretty harbour and historic castle. From here you can jump on the pedestrian ferry and enjoy a day out in Falmouth or take a cruise on Carrick Roads estuary. In the summertime, enjoy a boat trip to the beautiful St Anthony Head. Also accessible from here is the cathedral city of Truro, boasting an array of shops and eateries (12 miles).
