St Ervan
Quiet rural parish inland from Padstow
St Ervan is a small, scattered rural parish inland from Padstow on the north Cornwall coast. The parish church is dedicated to the Celtic saint Hermes (or Hieran), and the surrounding area is mainly farming land with a population under 500.
Padstow, with its harbour, restaurants, and the Camel Trail, is about 4 miles north-west. The beaches at Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay are about 3 miles to the west. The parish’s rural setting provides a quieter alternative to the busier coastal villages while remaining within easy reach of the north coast beaches and Rick Stein’s restaurant town.
