Tunes in the Dunes fills Perranporth beach with live music for three days every June. The main arena holds up to 5,000 people on the sand, with the Atlantic as a backdrop and the dune system rising behind the stages. No purpose-built festival site comes close to the setting.
2026 Lineup
The 2026 festival runs 5-7 June with confirmed acts including Professor Green, The Wombats, Scouting for Girls, Sigala, and The Proclaimers. Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Rhythm of the 90s, The Amy Winehouse Band, and One Night In Nashville are also on the bill. More acts to be announced.
Previous years have pulled McFly, Craig David, Ocean Colour Scene (2024), Busted, Jess Glynne, and Vengaboys (2025). The mix leans toward feel-good pop, indie, and nostalgia acts across multiple stages.

Camping
The campsite is at Perranporth Airfield on St George’s Hill, separate from the beach. Facilities include showers (£5 basic, £8 glam), toilets, and running water. Separate areas for tents and campervans. Scouts with trolleys help carry gear from cars to pitches. Each person in a group needs their own camping ticket.
A charity-operated shuttle bus runs regularly between the campsite and beach car park. Suggested donation of £2 to the festival; the return trip is free.
Getting There
Official parking is behind the Co-op in Perranporth, paid on arrival. The festival site is on the beach itself - follow signs from the car park. Perranporth is on the B3285, roughly 20 minutes from the A30 at Chiverton Cross.
The festival is family-friendly with no age restrictions. Children must be accompanied by an adult over 21. Between sets, the beach itself is the entertainment - two miles of sand for surfing, swimming, and sandcastles.
Where to Stay
If camping isn’t your thing, Perranporth has holiday cottages and B&Bs within walking distance of the beach. Newquay is 15 minutes by car with a wider range of accommodation.
