This attractive apartment is located on the ground floor of a grand Victorian house in the fishing town of Padstow. Take a stroll along the beautiful harbour and lose yourself in its maze of picturesque, narrow streets. Stop off for a traditional Cornish pasty, or pop into a teashop for some afternoon tea. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and head to one of the beaches on the Camel Estuary. Stroll along the wide sandy beach of Harbour Cove (3 miles), which is sheltered from all but the strongest of breezes, or head to Polzeath Beach (15 miles) with your surf board. There are lots of long slow breaking, consistent waves and you may even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or two. Or grab your bike and hit the Camel Trail, which runs 12 miles from Padstow along the route of the old railway line
