Daymer Bay, a sheltered sandy beach suited to families and swimming, is 1.6 miles away. Trevone Bay is 1.8 miles. Padstow harbour and Rick Stein’s original seafood restaurant are a short walk from the apartment. The Camel Trail - an 18-mile off-road cycle path to Bodmin - starts in town, and boat trips and sea safaris run from the harbour during summer.

Padstow is a compact harbour town on the Camel Estuary with a strong food culture: Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin-starred No. 6 and Rick Stein’s various establishments all sit within easy walking distance. The town also hosts the Obby Oss festival each May Day, one of Cornwall’s oldest folk traditions.

**Best for:** Couples or small families wanting a well-positioned Padstow base with estuary views, decent outdoor space, and access to both beaches and the Camel Trail. Dogs are welcome.
