Burgers & Fish

Burgers & Fish is a family-owned restaurant at 1A The Strand, by Padstow harbour, and has been running for over a decade. The menu pairs burgers made with local Cornish beef with fish and shellfish from the Cornish Crab Company and local fishermen. Warrens Butchers and Padstow Brewing are among the suppliers it names. Standout dishes on the restaurant’s own site include mussels, salt and pepper squid, grilled octopus, hake, beer-battered fish and a Cornish crab roll. There are vegetarian and plant-based dishes too.

A set lunch runs at £20.95 for 2 courses or £24.95 for 3. Happy hour means 2-for-1 cocktails every day from 12pm to 5pm (the restaurant marks the offer with an asterisk, so ask about conditions when you book).

The restaurant is dog-friendly and takes party and private event bookings. Padstow is busy from Easter to September, so book ahead for dinner and for weekend lunches.
