Boo Koos, Helston

Boo Koos is a Texas-inspired burger diner on Meneage Street, Helston’s main street. There is a second branch in Falmouth on the Moor, but this is where it started.

The menu has a large range of burgers that you can build to your own taste. They also do hot dogs, pulled pork and a long list of sides. The milkshakes are a draw for children. Also for Mum and Dad, they have a wide selection of drinks including margaritas.

They also have a kids menu, where they do L’il Boo burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and much more. They also cater for vegans and gluten-free diets. The menu is extensive. Tables get busy, so book ahead if you want to eat in; takeaway is available too.

Portions are generous. If you are spending the day in Helston, it is a straightforward choice for an evening meal.

The one thing to mention here is that it isn’t dog-friendly.
