Porthleven is a bustling historic maritime port with a beach (including a dog-friendly section). The town has some excellent shops and galleries and is getting the reputation as quite a foodie destination. Get out and about and explore the beautiful coastal path which runs through the town for some awesome views, take to the water by kayak or paddleboard, or simply pack up a picnic and head to the beach. For a fun-filled family day out visit the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (8 miles) or Paradise Park (11 miles). This elegant coastal bolthole has been completely refurbished and offers spacious interiors. On the ground floor there’s a spacious lounge offering stunning views and plenty of comfortable seating with a large TV. There is a separate dining room which provides a great space for dining and socialising with a wall mounted TV.
