Chiffchaff

Chiffchaff is a single-storey bungalow on Sarahs Close in Padstow, sleeping 4 guests in two bedrooms - one double and one twin. The all-ground-floor layout and accessible design make it suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The living/diner has an electric log-burner-style fire, a Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar and Blu-ray DVD player, and a selection of books, DVDs, and games. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. WiFi is included. One bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin, and WC.

A garage next to the property provides storage for wetsuits, bodyboards, and beach gear. Off-road parking fits one car, and the enclosed garden offers private outdoor space. Trevone Bay - a sandy, lifeguarded beach with a natural blowhole in the western cliffs and rock pools at low tide - is 2.6km away. Daymer Bay Beach, a sheltered estuary beach at the mouth of the Camel with calm, shallow water, is 3.1km east.

Padstow's harbour is within walking distance, with shops 0.2 miles and pubs 0.4 miles from the door. Rick Stein's restaurants, the Camel Trail cycle path to Bodmin (18 miles), and Paul Ainsworth's Michelin-starred No. 6 are all in town. The annual Obby Oss May Day festival is one of Cornwall's oldest surviving traditions.
