East Looe Beach is 0.5 km from the front door, with Hannafore Beach 1 km west and Plaidy Beach 1.6 km along the coast path. West Looe sits on the quieter side of the harbour - a walk over the Victorian bridge leads to East Looe's shops, pubs and fish restaurants. Polperro is 4 miles along the coast, and the Looe Valley branch line connects to mainline rail at Liskeard.
