Charlestown was built between 1790 and 1810 to help build up the industry of exporting copper and clay so it is rich in industrial history. The famous tall ships can be seen here while the village has also appeared in several films and TV programmes. St Austell the largest town in Cornwall is just a few miles away with a larger selection of shops restaurants and cafes. The cottage is also the perfect base for exploring Cornwall with attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan just a short drive away. This property retains many of its original features which include exposed beams and wooden floors.
