Located in a quiet spot among the countryside, you can enjoy true tranquillity and peace at this spot which is set on farmland. Head off on foot through the many footpaths that weave through the Heritage Coast and you can reach Duckpool Beach (2 miles) a beautiful, secluded beach with crystal clear waters. From here, join the South West Coast Path and admire the scenic views over the many bays. Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (5 miles) also has several walking routes, and the chance to take to the water for those who fancy trying kayaking or paddle boarding. Pick up amenities or grab a quick drink in the pretty village of Kilkhampton (2 miles) or enjoy the vibrant coastal town of Bude (5 miles) with its range of amenities, pretty beach, and rockpools. Here, you can also partake in several activities such as coasteering and surfing.
Step inside the inner porch, which is a handy spot for leaving your walking boots or beach gear before heading into the hallway. This is a reverse level property, so you will enter on the first floor where there is the first of the bedrooms, alongside the living space and family shower room. The open-plan lounge/diner is a lovely space for relaxing and reminiscing on your day, with a warming wood burner and plenty of seating to get comfortable on. From here, you can reach the bright kitchen which has everything you need to prepare delicious meals while overlooking the surrounding farmland. Completing this floor is a pleasant double bedroom. Take the stairs which lead down to a conservatory-cum-snug where you can get stuck into a good book. Downstairs, there are the remaining bedrooms, a room with children’s bunk beds and another double bedroom which has direct access to a private patio perfect for morning coffee and admiring the countryside views, alongside a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The garden can be accessed via the conservatory. It is mostly laid to lawn in two areas with a couple of external steps, patio and has garden furniture along with a BBQ, so you can cook and dine alfresco while the dogs safely explore.
