Hideaway

Hideaway is a one-bedroom cottage tucked behind the main streets of Fowey on Cornwall's south coast. It sleeps two and is designed as a couples' retreat in a working waterside town, within walking distance of the harbour and all the town's cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Inside, the cottage is stylish and compact, with an open-plan kitchen and living area, a single bedroom and a bathroom. Wifi, dishwasher and washing machine are all included, and the layout is accessible enough to suit a range of guests.

Outside, a small terrace gives a view over the town - useful for morning coffee or evening drinks. There is no on-site parking, which is typical for central Fowey; public car parks serve the town centre.

Fowey's passenger ferry crosses to Polruan for walks in the quieter village on the opposite bank, and the car ferry at Caffa Mill runs to Bodinnick for Looe, Polperro and the wider south coast. Readymoney Cove is a few minutes on foot for sheltered swimming. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within half an hour by car.
