Situated high on a hill in the popular village of Polruan, this lovely holiday home offers spectacular views of Fowey Harbour and estuary. The ideal base for friends or families to explore southern Cornwall, classic seaside fun is only a stones-throw away. The village’s narrow lanes are peaceful, unspoilt and virtually car-free. You will find two local pubs and a small shop on this side of the river. Alternatively, take the foot ferry across the river to Fowey and discover unique shops and boutiques, harbour-side cafes, pubs and excellent restaurants offering tempting local produce. Stunning coastal walks are right on your doorstep, such as the scenic trail to sandy Lantic Bay (1.5 miles). For seaside days, you will be spoilt for choice with many other wonderful beaches in the area. Nearby, the world-famous Eden Project is a 15-mile drive. The Fowey Festival of Words and Music is held in May, and the Fowey Royal Regatta is held in August. Both bring many additional attractions and events to the town.

This is a home full of character and holiday charm. Entering the well–equipped kitchen via a glass porch, you are met by cottage-style units containing everything to fulfil your culinary needs. To the front of the property is a lounge with a sofa and armchairs to relax in whilst enjoying the ever-changing estuary views. Sharing the same fantastic views is the master bedroom with a double bed. Also on this floor is a bedroom with twin single beds and a light, bright family bathroom with a shower over the bath. On the first floor is a quirky third bedroom with exposed wooden beams and twin beds.

Outside, a good-sized lawn wraps around the cottage and is perfect for enjoying a picnic in the sun whilst taking in fabulous views of the charming village and bustling harbour below.
