A detached 3-bedroom cottage in Polruan, sleeping 6 with each of its 3 bedrooms en-suite - king, double, and twin. The village sits on the hillside across the estuary from Fowey, connected by a passenger ferry that runs year-round from the quay below. Off-road parking for 2 cars is at the front of the cottage.

Inside, the lounge has a wood burner and the enclosed rear garden has a BBQ and outdoor furniture for summer evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. No wifi or hot tub, but the en-suite configuration and the garden make this a practical cottage for a group of 6 who want independence across bedrooms.

Lantic Bay - a National Trust sandy bay reached by a 20-30 minute walk down a steep coast path - is 0.9 miles from the cottage. Readymoney Cove, a calmer sheltered beach on the Fowey side of the estuary, is about 0.7 miles. The Polruan ferry takes 5 minutes to cross to Fowey, where restaurants, shops, and the Daphne du Maurier Literary Centre are within easy reach. The South West Coast Path passes through the village.

Best for families or groups wanting a south Cornwall estuary base with ferry access to Fowey and easy coast path walking. Less suited to guests who need wifi or struggle with the steep lanes typical of Polruan.
