Overbrook

Overbrook is a three-bedroom cottage for 2 on the edge of Polperro village, reached over a small footbridge across the River Pol. The property added to the local rental stock in 2024 and combines a riverside setting with the full walkable access of Polperro's streets, harbour and pubs.

Inside, the cottage has two bathrooms and an open-plan ground floor, with wifi and a dishwasher fitted. An open fire sits in the main living space. Dogs are welcome, and accessible access is included.

Outside, two seating areas work for different parts of the day - one at the front with the sound of the river running underneath, and a quieter space at the back with a wildflower patch in spring. Private parking is included, which is genuinely useful in Polperro given the pedestrian restrictions in the centre.

Polperro village is a working fishing harbour set between cliffs, with pubs, cafes and shops along narrow streets that keep cars out during the day. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftops in both directions to Talland Bay (about 2 km) and Lansallos. Looe lies 4 miles east for the Looe Valley Line railway.
