2 Step-A-Side

2 Step-A-Side is a two-bedroom apartment in East Looe, set just off the main streets with a large sun terrace and views through the rooftops towards Banjo Pier. It sleeps four, with a king-size double in the main bedroom and two single beds in the twin.

The apartment has one bathroom, a family shower room with a large walk-in corner shower, and 14 steps lead up to the front door. A washing machine and wifi are provided. Dogs are not accepted. Check-in at the apartment is from 4pm, check-out is by 10am and Friday is the preferred changeover day.

You can pull in briefly outside to unload, and the garage below the terrace takes a motorbike. In Looe that suits a stay on foot. East Looe's sandy beach, wide at low tide, is a few minutes' walk, as is the working harbour with its fish market. The South West Coast Path runs directly from the property: west, it climbs towards Talland Bay and Polperro; east, it reaches headlands and small coves at Plaidy and Millendreath.

The wider Looe area has good food options - the Sardine Factory on the quay and several independent cafes in both East and West Looe, connected by the foot ferry that runs across the river.

Best for two to four guests who want walkable access to the harbour, beach and coast path without a car. Less suited to groups larger than four, or to guests who need to park a car at the door or avoid steps.
