Hannafore Beach is 900 metres to the west, known for some of Cornwall's best rock pools. Plaidy Beach sits 1.1 km east - a quieter mixed-sand cove. The South West Coast Path runs directly past the property in both directions.

Looe is a working fishing town split across East and West Looe, joined by a Victorian bridge. The harbour is active, with boats heading out daily. Shops, restaurants, and pubs line the narrow streets within a few minutes' walk. The coast path west leads to Polperro, about 5 miles along the cliffs through Talland Bay.
