This delightful home-from-home offers the best of both worlds - it lies between Padstow and Wadebridge in unspoilt countryside and offers panoramic views over the Camel Estuary to Padstow and out to sea. The two-bedroom property is set in the small hamlet of Edmonton to the west of Wadebridge, a lively town with a cinema, restaurants and several atmospheric pubs offering live music. The town’s position on the Camel Estuary also makes it a good prospect for water sports such as water-skiing, canoeing and sailing. Polzeath (7 miles), Harlyn (9 miles) and Newquay (16 miles) are highly regarded surf spots and the fishing village of Padstow (8 miles) offers fine dining seafood restaurants, galleries and boutiques. You can cycle or walk along the scenic Camel Trail to Padstow or continue along the trail inland towards the realms of Bodmin and the moor or enjoy a trip on the ferry to the famous family-friendly resort of Rock, just across the estuary, which offers excellent sandy beaches, sailing, golf and water sports.

The house is all on one level and has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with beautiful views of the estuary and surrounding fields. Cook up a storm in the kitchen area and eat together around the pine table, or why not head to the inn just around the corner for an evening meal? The two bright and airy bedrooms are twins, one with an en-suite shower room, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath. Heated towel rails are a lovely touch and there’s underfloor heating in the entrance area too.

Outside there is a shared lawn and parking for to cars at the nearby Quarryman Inn nearby.
