In summer, you can hire equipment to go paddleboarding, kayaking or sailing and the pretty sheltered beach at Readymoney Cove is less than half a mile away. The town lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, is well worth exploring too.
